How to cook it · about 30 minutes

  1. Stir together the Worcestershire, oyster sauce, ketchup, soy sauce and sugar.
  2. Slice the pork into thin bite-size strips. Cut the cabbage into 1-inch pieces, the carrots into thin matchsticks and the onion into thin slices.
  3. Loosen the noodles: run them under hot water in a colander for 30 seconds and pull them apart gently with your fingers. Drain well.
  4. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high. Cook the pork 3 to 4 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the onion and carrots for 2 minutes, then the cabbage for 2 minutes more, so it wilts but still has some crunch.
  6. Add the noodles and the sauce, and toss with tongs for 2 to 3 minutes until every strand is coated and hot. Top with sliced green onions.

Amounts are on the list above — they change with the number of people; the steps do not.
