Before you start

A 4×8 sheet catches the wind and is awkward on your own, so carry it with two people. Keep blades and sharp tools above the reach of children.

What to buy — untick anything you have

Lumber

2 sheets of pegboard, 1/4 in, 4×8A 4×8 sheet will not fit in a car. The cut station can cut it into two 4×4 pieces if the customer wants.
6 Furring strip, 1×2, 8 ft

Hardware

1 box of wood screws with finish washers, 2-1/2 in
2 kits of pegboard hooks, assortedHooks sized for 1/4 in holes, with locking clips so they do not come out with the tool.

How it goes · about an afternoon · beginner

Find the studs and screw the furring strips across them, top, middle and bottom, level.
Lift the pegboard onto the strips with a helper and screw it through into the strips with the finish washers.
Lay the tools out on the floor first and decide where each one lives.
Hang the hooks, lock them, and draw an outline around each tool so it goes back where it came from.
