Before you start

Epoxy fumes are strong and the etch is an acid. Open the garage door, wear a respirator, gloves and eye protection, and keep children and pets away until it cures.

How it goes · about a weekend, plus a few days to cure · some experience

Empty the garage, sweep it out, and tape along the bottom of the walls.
Scrub out every oil stain with degreaser, then etch the floor with what comes in the kit and rinse it well.
Let it dry completely, a day or more. Tape a square of plastic down overnight; if it is damp underneath, wait.
Fill the cracks, then mix one kit at a time and roll it on in small sections, scattering the color flakes as you go.
Keep off it for a day, and keep the car off it for as long as the kit says, usually several days.
